What does security cost? Why we don't compete on price.

Every property is different, so we quote every job in writing, usually the same day. Call for pricing. Here is what drives the cost, and why we will never be the cheapest company you call.

Cheap security gets paid for twice

The lowest bid in security almost always comes from paying officers the least. Low pay brings turnover, no shows, new faces at your gate every week, and guards who spend the shift on their phone. You pay for it again the first time something happens and nobody saw it, or the report is two lines long.

We pay our officers well, so we keep good ones, and the same ones stay at your property. Quality officers deserve great pay. Our clients deserve quality. Quality comes at a price, and we are upfront about it.

What you are paying for

  • Officers who show up. On time, in uniform or the attire you choose, every shift.
  • The same officers. They learn your property, your people, and your routine.
  • Law enforcement standards. A company owned and operated by an active sworn officer, with clear, detailed reports.
  • Proof. Checkpoint scans, GPS, and photos show every round happened.
  • An owner who answers. You call Kevin directly, not a call center.
  • Licensed and insured. BSIS PPO #122466, general liability and workers' comp.

What drives the price

  • Officer type. Unarmed guards cost the least, armed guards more, and off duty police officers the most.
  • Hours. How many hours, how many posts, and whether shifts run past 8 hours, when California overtime applies.
  • Nights, weekends, and holidays. Often billed at a premium.
  • Patrol vehicle or on foot. A marked patrol vehicle adds cost and covers more ground.
  • Notice and minimum shifts. Short notice and short shifts cost more per hour, especially for off duty officers.
  • Around the clock posts. One 24/7 post takes about four full time officers once relief is counted.
